The kids and I decided to head to Utah this week. One of the high points of the trip was that Harrison just happened to be receiving his mission call! We all had guesses as to where he would be called... and my brother Mike said, "He'll go to DC... not my mission, but the south mission." We all laughed. When Harrison opened the call and read what it stated, we all-including Mike- thought he was kidding. "Harrison Don Littledike, you are hereby called to serve in the Washington DC South Mission." My brother must be inspired.... because of all the missions in the world, he called it. Hilarious.
We also were there over Dani's 5th birthday! When we asked what she would like to do, she immediately said she just wanted to eat pizza and swim. So along with my family, Grandpa Jon & Grandma Geri came down to join in the fun. My kids just can't get enough of the big water slide there at the Kamas swimming pool, so they slid and slid to their heart's content. I can't believe my little girl is 5....
The first few pictures below are of the kids and I at the aquarium in Salt Lake City. All manner of fresh and salt water creatures could be seen from all around the world. It was fantastic and worth every penny.
